A headspace is unique to every system, from deisgn, to how it works. Some systems don't have headspaces meanwhile others have multiple. Each headspace has its own rules but there tend to be consistency within rules, such as if you go dormant after being fatally wounded. To go dormant or into dormancy is the equivalent of death in a headspace. The only way to reverse it is if you have a dormancy gatekeeper do so.
